Jack E. Harrison has served as the firm's Director of Government Relations since 1999. Mr. Harrison is not a lawyer.

Jack is a graduate of West Virginia University's School of Journalism and received his Masters Degree in Public Administration from West Virginia in 1971.

For twenty-two years he lobbied for the oil industry before the West Virginia Legislature as well as the United States Congress.

Since joining Goodwin & Goodwin, Jack has handled the government relations needs of numerous clients in various industries, including the American Petroleum Institute, Fresenius Medical Care, Miss Utility, Constructor's Labor Council and the West Virginia Small Public Utilities.

He serves as Chairman of the West Virginia Underground Storage Tank Advisory Committee and currently holds a seat on the Charleston City Council.
