• Personal: Tom is married to Kathryn Sneddon Goodwin, and they have two grown daughters—Carrie and Emily. As he has for nearly his entire legal career, Tom lives on a working farm in the rolling hills of Evans, West Virginia, close to the town of Ripley where he was raised as a child. Tom stays busy with many activities on the farm, including tennis, swimming, golf, playing the piano and regularly entertaining his four grandsons and two granddaughters.
